Astrolabe,

Last night was very strange. Our mother and I were both tired so we did not cook but went to eat at the World's End. But our mother did not sit with me and drank at the bar. I was confused. Did she want me to drink with her, or was she thinking alone? I was confused so I did not join her.

Then Jelleneth came in and she was very drunk. After I Cleansed her she explained her problem, that there are two men who want to be her husband and she does not know which one to marry. And I was a little angry to hear about it, Astrolabe.

Shattrath is incredibly dirty. I have no idea how Seol lives here. Or maybe I have an idea and it is that he likes to stand in the middle of this Lower City here with his golden armor and clean black hair and be a shining beacon of hope to all those poor ugly refugees.

After all, the best soldiers are in Northrend standing against Arthas so there is no one to outshine some scrawny two-copper Knight.

A draenei spat on Galenos when we passed the Aldor Rise.

I don't like this place.

So today I decided to do the Southshore quests for Hallow's End on Seol. Apparently you can do this without flagging... ... ... except that I was wearing a shield with a spike on it, so whenever the guards hit me, I flagged. And did not realize this until after I finished both quests. /sob

... However.

The first time I accidentally flagged, two 80s whose names I sadly did not record, a male dwarf paladin and a female(?) night elf druid, followed me as I fled from town and attacked me. Feeling ashamed of my mistake, and also not really being a PvP type of person (even when they chose to attack me,) I sat there and waited for them to kill me (with a /greet, /welcome, and /twiddle.)

...

They didn't do a very good job of it.

Astrolabe,

I know you try to make a joke with the mask and the "now you will love me because I am a blood elf" but it's not Various things happened today.

I was afraid to confess to Tiddia so I did not go home to the apartment in Silvermoon quickly. I went to M'uru's room instead because I wanted to feel that love so I would be a little braver. But I found Shuuken there. It was strange. She said she heard music that called her there. I wonder if Shuuken "hears" the spirits and the breath of the earth the way that I "feel" the Light.

The man who steals food because he is dying of hunger.

The man who commits treason in order to save the monarch's life.

The man who holds no special rank, upon whom no dependents rely, who does no great work for the world, who kills an attacker bent on his life.

The madman who, blind with illusions, kills out of fear and horror.

Astrolabe,

Now I will write down the things that happened in Silvermoon because I have calmed down. But by the Light you have strange ideas of what is humorous

My sister went on a trip. I am not as worried as Pietro is. When Jia began to go on outings with Galenos I was very worried, but actually he is very intelligent and good with a bow and Jia is as safe traveling with him as she is traveling with any Farstrider. And Jia is not just a good mage, but she is very sensible and does not do silly things. She will stay by the roads and travel in a group and go from Horde post to Horde post. In that way she really is a lot smarter than her brother who goes to try to make friends with the Alliance every few months.

Astrolabe,

The things that pass for theological discussion in the Horde are really pitiful. Some paladin thinks he is very intellectual to stand up and lecture us about how we should be "united" without any solutions for enmity of undead and holy users, etcetera. The conclusion is "do not fight your allies because it is bad" and everyone applauds this profound statement.

Yuck!

I would like to see the disputationes of my mother Chihra's generation revived. A sermon which forbids disagreement is a little bit sick. Fearfully, it closes up to ideas that might nourish it. And everyone must listen, even to a thing that, to his heart, is very wrong, with no chance to protect his truth.

Your people had disputations, too, I think? Being people of the intellectual and arcane way and the holy way, like high elves were. Do they still happen? Or maybe disagreement is sealed up in the Alliance like in the Horde because people are afraid.

I promise I will write the last section soon. But I am so sleepy tonight.

What, then, is there left for the Light to be?

There are certain skeptics who argue that we should think of the Holy power that emanates from the Light as a mere school of magic, no different from Frost or Fire. Although such a comparison is immediately offensive to a religious man, it is perhaps not as wrongheaded as it first seems.

It is a convention of language to refer to the Light as loving, punishing, forgiving, or scorning, but evidence seems to suggest -- and theologians have already argued -- that such expressions are creatively anthropomorphic. It is a popular opinion within the Church that the Light is above does not have opinions or emotions such as those of gods or (troll deity thingies). Instead, theologians prefer to characterize the Light as an opinion or emotion. This theory tends to take three forms using three different senses of the word "love." First, the Light may be an opinion, the love of good thoughts and actions. Second, the Light may be a universal, brotherly love among beings. Third, the Light may be a universal, motherly love towards beings.

Astrolabe,

Master Arimadios This and that Blood Knight is really evi immoral. He tried to make someone kiss someone with a mind-control hat. I am so angry he could do that kind of thing now still. Someone can do that kind of thing and say he is a paladin? My stomach feels sick.

The Common word good has many ambiguities. For instance, when one says the Light is good, he usually means that the Light has absolute, positive ethic value. However, if one says chocolate is good, he usually means that it brings comfort and pleasure.

We who follow the faith of the Light are indoctr taught that the Light is absolute ethic good. This belief dictates that those who utilize the Light must be good and that those who are destroyed by it must be evil. This seems a sufficient theory for humans those who live in cities under the Light, protected by paladins who shield them from the undead and lose their powers if they stray from goodness.

But at times, this theory seems to be inconsistent fall short of a wholly satisfying explanation regarding some phenomena of the larger world.

I hate them. I hate all of them.

They don't kill to punish, they punish to kill. They use "vindication" as an excuse to destroy anything. They use "purity" to beautify an empty world. They like to kill -- they grasp the Light to poison it with anger and make it sick and make it suffer -- not to protect someone, or to heal his sadness, or to make the world safe and gentle.

Not even to survive, like the blood elves who made M'uru sick and dead.

They kill the Light because they want the Light to be angry and hateful and sick. And they are proud.

I hate you Your mind is like the minds of the Legion.

Your Hand is opposite the hand of the man'ari.

I will not kill them. The words will not come back. You cannot read at all because of the glare of the Light.

I will NEVER be a paladin

Astrolabe,

I am reassigned from defense against Skettis to the pacification of the Auchenai. Now after Levixus and Maladaar are dead, they do not trouble the Sha'tar so much, but there are still necromancers inside the Crypts. The priests reanimate the dead ones, and they are determined. I think the fight will be long.

I think the death priest Ramdor began to say to me that the Auchenai go towards darkness because the naaru below is sick. I met this naaru whose name is D'ore, but I cried very much, so I do not remember very well. It is very sick and eating many souls, and it suffers very much. But it hopes to be well again soon, and I also feel hope with pain.
