seol_plumfallI have been thinking for a long time, and now I am quite sure: I was too harsh with the boy.
Astrolabe is off to Azeroth to look for someone to train her in arms. She promised me that she would not stray out of the capital cities of the Alliance so I am at least not worried about her trying to make friends with strange blood elves. But she refused to go to the Exodar, and I am a little nervous about her mingling with the foreign nations. I think that with his money I may be able to afford at least a short break from work to accompany her.
I need a cloak. A really big cloak. Although, I wonder if they will really treat me better as a hideous old hunchback than a Broken?
The boy brought a hatchling dragonhawk from his homeland to Shattrath. It's very interesting; I have never seen an immature specimen of her kind before. They appear to be a transitional form of bird and reptile; although the adults can breathe fire, they have no actual relation to dragons. The little one, whom the boy says to be female, has been sick and frightened since arriving, which is to be expected. Terokkar is likely quite different from her native Quelthalas.
I know that the blood elves use them as mounts and even train them for protection. It would be interesting to see what we could do with this one. So far I've managed to get her to take meat from my hand, though she is not quite willing to be touched yet.
I wish I could say it was amusing that, compared to the grown men and women around here, a helpless baby animal fears a Broken less.
