Astrolabe,
I am reassigned from defense against Skettis to the pacification of the Auchenai. Now after Levixus and Maladaar are dead, they do not trouble the Sha'tar so much, but there are still necromancers inside the Crypts. The priests reanimate the dead ones, and they are determined. I think the fight will be long.
I think the death priest Ramdor began to say to me that the Auchenai go towards darkness because the naaru below is sick. I met this naaru whose name is D'ore, but I cried very much, so I do not remember very well. It is very sick and eating many souls, and it suffers very much. But it hopes to be well again soon, and I also feel hope with pain.
Maybe it means we are right and the Light can get sick. Injury or illness can even make naaru dark. If a naaru is sick too long it can die.
They do not say this. "The Light cannot exist without the Void." Not "the Light can become ill-colored Light." Maybe we are wrong. But I think about ghosts of mortal people. Maybe sick naaru are a little like ghosts. They are dark, and they are destroyed by Light magic. They often trouble people who are alive. But they are not all evil.
I think shamans understand mortal ghosts very well. Paladins and priests "put to rest." Maybe that is kind, but "putting to rest" is like destroying. Shamans talk to ghosts more nicely. The naaru say their illness does not have a medicine, but I am sad to agree without study. I will find a master shaman and ask. Maybe I can find a medicine to make sick naaru feel better so they do not die like the Blood Knights killed M'uru.
I am glad now there is no Church of Light in Silvermoon anymore because I think this is a heresy.
Before I went to the Crypts, the death priest Nitrin fed me a potion to see the ghosts in Auchindoun. He said that many death priests become crazy because they see the dead everywhere all the time. What I see is very sad. In the Bone Wastes the ghosts are so many I cannot avoid walking through them. And it is a little scary because people are not usually very pretty when they die. But you know, I already understand this suffering.
I also see other things. Not all the ghosts are sick from the destruction of Auchindoun. Some look for their families. Some watch the travelers from Azeroth who come to protect the Lower City. In Shattrath ghosts walk on the street and look in doorways. Sometimes they see someone and smile. One ghost watched me and smiled when I looked at her.
They are dead souls, but they think about the people they like still.
If I make a mistake and die, you should not feel sad. Maybe I will go to the Light, and then you will feel me every day when you study. Maybe Blood Knights cannot go to the Light because they made it too sick. But then I will be a ghost and follow you and watch you. So do not feel lonely when you have trouble or you feel sad.
