a child of a long-lived species that is being overtaken by short-lived species.
Astro's concepts:
the yang to Seol's yin, she experiences everything as types of pleasure.

difficulty communicating between her inner world and the outer world -- a thought disorder
Song for Seol: Uninstall by Chiaki Ishikawa. YES IT IS AN ANIME OPENING. From an anime about child soldiers in which (almost) Everyone Dies. I think it's appropriate.
Seol's flower: Plum blossom, naturally.
For Seol, his family name "Plumfall" has gone through an evolution of connotation. Originally, the name would have been bestowed on his ancestors to suggests that they were the harbingers of spring ("spring" being the more important noble families) as the plum blossoms falling signals the coming of spring. Since his family was wiped out and Silvermoon fell, though, Seol now feels more like the last blossom on the dying tree, about to fall in the winter gale -- but he must endure until spring comes.
Astro's flower: Meconopsis.
A few things I've read associate the blue poppy with Tara, but this may have been made up by Western New Age types. Still, I like that connection, too.
Seol's colors: grayish-brownish-purple ("Dark Byzantium",) pale dusky pink ("Rosy Brown",) delicate faded gold ("Ecru",) white, gray.
Journal color is #61494b.
Astro's colors: faded dark indigo (like this,) clear sky blue ("Maya Blue",) dark reddish-violet-brown (darker, purpler "Cordovan",) teal, white.
Journal color is probably #4d425c.
Abelar's journal color is #374d59.
Seol's animal: turtle (box turtle?) Slow, guarded, and cute as a button :< Astro's animal: sporebat. Lightly floating, blown away in a strong wind.
Seol's Western zodiac: Sun Cancer, Moon Pisces, Ascendant Taurus.
Astro's Western zodiac: Sun Pisces, Moon Aquarius, Ascendant Gemini.
I'm less sure about Astro's than I am about Seol's.
